What is it? Chemical Peels are treatments that will improve the appearance and feel of the skin. A chemical solution is applied directly to the skin and begins to exfoliate the skin. There are different types of chemical peels with different strengths, at Skin High our Creme de la Chem Peel is a triple layered enzyme peel to prep the skin, followed by a glycolic and salicylic formula, and finished with a saturation of Glycolic or Salicylic Acid for optimal results. The exfoliation process is very fast, so the chemical is only left on for a short period of time.
Who it’s for? Anyone looking for a new, healthy glow to their skin. Chemical peels are great for people with fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, scarring, uneven skin tone, and hyperpigmentation.
Who it’s not for? Chemical peels are not recommended for clients with active infections and autoimmune disorders. We recommend speaking with your doctor beforehand if you are pregnant, have cancer, diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions, or thyroid disease.
